We are dedicated to rescuing and saving abandoned and abused dogs and cats and we strongly believe that no healthy animal should be put to sleep. We work to find suitable homes for the dogs and cats in our care and have links outside of Spain that allow us to rehome our dogs both within Spain and overseas.
Unfortunately some of the dogs and cats in our care have suffered terrible abuse, some of them are older and have lost their owners and some are just not that cute. These dogs can be much harder to rehome and for these we offer a sanctuary providing them with love and care while we tirelessly search to find them the perfect human companion.

Our founder Maz Bailey has over 20 years experience of working to rescue dogs in Spain and set up Maz's Canine Rescue and Sanctuary in 2013.

We receive no money from the government and rely completely on the generosity of our supporters.
